FAQs

What time will the race start?

All events in the RUN SLC series will start at 8am, at our 700 E Salt Lake Running Company location.

Can I get a refund or transfer my registration?

We will not be able to offer refunds or transfer registrations to another runner. Sorry.

Is there Race Day Packet Pick Up?

Packet Pick Up will be held on the Friday before the run. Click here to see the packet pick up time.

We will not offer packet pick up the morning of the races to provide a prompt start at 8am.

Can I run with my dog?

While we offer group runs that allow friendly dogs (and all of our store locations are dog-friendly!) we cannot allow dogs on the race course.

Can I run with my jogging stroller?

Yes, and we hope your little ones are bundled for the cold morning temps!

Can I wear headphones?

Yes, but the course is not completely closed to cars, although the SLPD will be directly traffic. Please be aware of other runners, and we recommend you use only 1 earbud or use running headphones that allow for ambient noise.  Please use caution.

Where is the best place to park?

Parking near Salt Lake Running Company is limited. The parking lot will be closed the morning of each race to allow for the Start/Finish Area set-up. We highly recommend that you carpool and park on the side streets to the west of Salt Lake Running Company.

Please be aware that you do not park in front of  driveways or too close to an intersection.  SLC parking tickets have been issued for this in the past.

We also invite you to use the UTA S-Line, by parking at Central Pointe or Fairmont Park.

Will this race be timed?

Yes! This series is timed by ChronoTrack. Your time starts recording when you cross the timing mat at the starting line. No runners will be allowed on the course beyond 15 minutes after the published start time. If you arrive after this, check with the timing team at the start line.

I don’t want to run, but I’d love to volunteer! How can I sign up?

We love volunteers! Click here to register to volunteer!
